Missing and Murdered Indigenous Women Prayer Walk at the Lummi Nation. Please share widely to help spread awareness on the subject. Hy'shqe to the strong women and men who came together to walk, sing, and stand together for our missing and murdered indigenous women and men. Watch as Rosa breaks the silence about struggling through both addiction and family tragedy, while finding courage and power in her Native American culture. The opioid crisis is killing one of us every 11 minutes. But if we talk, if we listen, if we share, we can begin to end the stigma that too often prevents people from speaking up and getting help.

the Foundations are now set for two tiny homes 🙂 thankful for all the hard work by those doing this, and showing that the work around tiny homes isn’t just going to be a shack, but will be done in the right ways that meet and exceed all building and residential codes 🙂 it’s going to be a beautiful site for our people and community as this project continues to grow \o/ ...

Just wanted to reach out and see if anyone local is able to come help with some demo work the next few days. We have started with the demo work, but if can find any more volunteers it would be greatly appreciated...

Thursday, May 16, 2019: 12pm - 4pm
Friday, May 17, 2019: 8am -4pm

If anyone wants to come smash some drywall and help with demo work for a good cause... your help would be greatly appreciated...we will be converting this into a duplex in the near future for two of our small families who are working and/or going for their higher education...

Please private message if available for more information, to help with any of the needed help... \o/

Lummi Stepping Stones - "A Le Leng" - "Ne'Wi Leng" is in Lummi, Washington.

The Second Tiny home for Eagle Haven is now close to being able to be delivered🙂 will have the same cedar siding as the first one and both will be delivered in the next week to their permanent home... today both foundations were dug, and are expected to be completed by Thursday... so that the two homes can be moved and the finishing work can soon take place...

A big \o/ thank you \o/ for today’s work goes to Roy Finkbonner, Sit Ki Kadim James for digging the foundations for both homes and removing so many blackberry bushes around the site, and Mark Julius, Issac Jefferson, Nathan Jefferies and our lead Lee Plaster of FH Construction for today’s long day of work and who will be finishing the tiny homes at Eagle Haven going forward. FH Construction has been an amazing partner in every journey of work in serving our people and community...

To those in the community, please know what we are trying to do is do something beautiful for our community and people, these are not cheap sheds or run down in anyway... it is a clean and sober village that is comming to life and everyone that will be living here will be working or going furthering their education, people who will be living here will have a strict and high standard of taking care of the home and the village so that it will never bring dishonor to our community and people... it really is going to bring a new sense of healing to our community and those who can finally have a place of belonging ... \o/

Lummi Stepping Stones - "A Le Leng" - "Ne'Wi Leng" is feeling grateful at Lummi Stepping Stones - "A Le Leng" - "Ne'Wi Leng".

\o/ Lummi Stepping Stones management wanted to take a moment to raise our hands to all those who made a difference the last few days with all the amazing work.... we didn’t just build a tiny home for a individual, because there was a lot of other work taking place in supporting the bigger picture... Operation Tiny Home and all those who made our latest endeavor of a beautiful tiny home into a reality... but their 3 day workshop allowed the community to rebuild a toy box and give it a new life... as you can see by the before and after pictures... on top of that and in partnership with Milwaukee Tool North America donated $15,800 worth of refurbished power tools so that Lummi Stepping Stones can have all that we need to build our next tiny home with our excuses... there was also a donation to HomesNow. Not Later. which previously helped in partnership with 3 prior tiny homes “satellite rooms” that have been used non stop by tribal members experiencing homelessness since they were donated... also lastly a donation was made to Northwest Indian College Carpentry Program which helped with all the siding for this most recent tiny home build, in total over $48,000 worth of power tools was donated to 3 amazing local groups... and speaking of the students at northwest Indian college, we just wanted to say thank you to each and everyone of the students as they donated a newly completed picnic table to our family home “Ne’Wi Leng” ... This will be happily used often now that our weather turns for
The warmer temperatures.

Thank you all, from the bottom of our hearts here at Lummi Stepping Stones for all the love and support during our journey of serving our community and people, your our heroes and angels to so many here in Lummi, and the world is a better place because of you all... \o/

Day 1 of Operation Tiny Homes for Eagle Haven village.

Lummi Stepping Stones - "A Le Leng" - "Ne'Wi Leng" shared a post. ...

Founder of Operation Tiny Home was at the KISM 92.9 studio this morning to do an interview with Brad and John 92.9 KISM. If this is the first time you're learning about Operation Tiny Home, you should visit their website and follow their Facebook and Insta page. This organization does exceptional work all over America. They've helped communities of Veterans build tiny homes, they work to send pallets of #Millwaukeetools to disaster victims, they've recently partnered with community of Paradise, CA to help rebuild their community after the Camp Fire last November, and they're launching their first Native American program this week at Bellingham Millwork. 👏👏👏!! You all are AMAZING!! . . #bellinghammillwork #operationtinyhome #lummisteppingstones #wellsfargo #bellingham #bellinghamwa
